  • FOUNDER

    Ashley’s 17-year career in the golf industry began as an assistant editor at Golf Digest. She spent the following 11 years climbing up the magazine's editorial masthead, forging new paths and launching and overseeing the brand's social media and digital channels. While at Golf Digest, Ashley earned her Masters Degree in digital journalism from Columbia's School of Journalism. Ashley joined the 8AM Golf team in 2018 and eventually became its Chief Brand Officer. Most recently, Ashley was Head of Brand at The Cabot Collection, overseeing content and brand strategy for Cabot’s various golf destinations.

    As a first-generation American and first-generation golfer, Ashley lives for opportunities that not only help avid players enjoy the game more than they already do, but also to entice new people to the sport. Ashley earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Virginia, where she competed on its first-ever women's golf team. She got to share that experience with her identical twin sister, Kira, and the two continue to play golf often.

  • CHIEF CHARM OFFICER

    Few people are more curious, more engaging or more creative than Ashley Mayo’s husband, Jeff. That’s why Ashley often finds herself bouncing ideas off Jeff, and why Jeff has successfully immersed himself in the golf industry before ever formally working in it. That changes now!

    As Ashley’s righthand man, Jeff is a sounding board who represents avid and enthusiastic golfers. He helps Ashley prioritize and understand the consumer (ie, the golfer!). He also adds levity and humor to every situation, ensuring the process stays fun and easy.
